Baisakhi, principally Punjab and Haryana's premier Rabi harvest jubilee, transpires annually on April 13 or 14. For Sikhs, it commemorates Guru Gobind Singh's 1699 Khalsa Panth founding; Hindus revere the Sun's Aries ingress and Ganga ablutions as auspicious.
