New Delhi, 13 April (H.S.):

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia will inaugurate a four-day special postage stamp exhibition, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat: Celebrating India's Unity and Democracy Through Postage Stamps, at the Prime Ministers' Museum on April 14, 2026.

Organized by the Prime Ministers' Museum and Library (PMML) with the Department of Posts, the event commences at noon in Block-I's 'Introduction Gallery,' running until April 17. Special picture postcards on India's Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and People of India will be released.

Private collectors nationwide contribute rare stamps, chronicling post-Independence unity, democracy, and cultural tapestry—featuring PMs/Presidents, democratic institutions, freedom fighters, and diversity.

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Posts and PMML will be signed. Culminating April 17 on former PM Chandrashekhar's 99th birth anniversary, a dedicated special cover launches.

Visitors, philatelists, students, and public will immerse in history, heritage, and democracy via philately's lens.
