
Jammu, 13 April (H.S.): Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today visited Bachaianwali village in Surankote to offer his condolences to the families of those who died in a recent tragic road accident in Kuwait.
Six men from the Rajouri and Poonch districts lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
During his visit, the Minister met with the bereaved families and expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the untimely loss of their loved ones.
Standing in solidarity with the grieving families, Rana prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and for the families to find strength during this difficult time.
He assured the affected households that the Government is fully committed to supporting them and that every possible effort will be made to provide immediate relief and necessary assistance.
Furthermore, the Minister has urged the Ministry of External Affairs to expedite all legal and procedural formalities to ensure the early repatriation of the victims’ mortal remains.
He confirmed that he would personally take up the matter with the concerned authorities to guarantee swift action, ensuring the families can perform the final rites of their loved ones without further delay.
