New Delhi, 13 April (H.S.):

The National Health Authority (NHA) has invited innovators, students, developers, and startups to participate in the AB PM-JAY Auto-Adjudication Hackathon 2026 under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, aiming to forge cutting-edge digital solutions for swifter, precise, and transparent health insurance claims adjudication.

Currently settling ~50,000 daily claims—with merely 15-20% automated—the scheme grapples with surging volumes and complexities. This AI-driven initiative seeks scalable systems adept at diverse treatment packages and document formats.

Nationwide enthusiasm has yielded 2,600+ registrations; applicants must enroll by April 13, 2026, via the official portal. Masterclasses commence today, elucidating claims systems, hackathon expectations, and digital health innovation vistas.

Culminating May 8-9 at Bengaluru's Indian Institute of Science, top teams clinch ₹5 lakh, ₹3 lakh, and ₹2 lakh prizes—plus NHA collaboration prospects. Register at https://nha.gov.in/hackathon by deadline.
