Jammu, 10 April (H.S.): MLA Jammu East constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, organized a Public Darbar at the BJP office in Kachi Chawni, here, today to directly engage with residents and address their grievances related to civic amenities and infrastructure.

The Public Darbar witnessed the participation of a large number of people from different localities of the Jammu East constituency, who raised issues concerning water supply, road conditions, sanitation, drainage, and other day-to-day problems.

The initiative aimed at providing a platform for the public to interact directly with their elected representative and seek prompt solutions to their concerns.

Speaking on the occasion, Sethi emphasized the importance of such outreach programmes in strengthening the connection between the administration and the people.

He stated, “Our goal is to ensure last-mile delivery of civic services and address the day-to-day problems of the people with utmost seriousness. BJP is committed to participatory governance, and these Public Darbars serve as a bridge between the citizens and the administration.”

He further said that timely intervention in such matters not only resolves the problems but also strengthens the trust of people in the democratic process.

Sethi assured the attendees that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for immediate resolution. He further reiterated his commitment to ensuring efficient delivery of basic services and improving the overall infrastructure in Jammu East.

Sethi also directed officials and party representatives present at the Darbar to maintain proper follow-up of the complaints received and ensure that necessary action is taken without delay.

He stressed that public convenience and development remain top priorities, and continuous efforts are being made to enhance living conditions of the people in the constituency.
