Lucknow,
April 10 (HS): According to events in early 2026, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister
Yogi Adityanath is aggressively improving the state's heart care facilities.
The launch of health technology conferences, the deployment of free,
life-saving heart attack injections, and the invitation of specialists to a
national cardiology conference in Lucknow are among the key features. The
Department of Cardiology at King George's Medical University (KGMU) has invited
CM Yogi Adityanath to the National Interventional Council (NIC) 2026, which
will be held in Lucknow from April 9 to 12, 2026. The conference will
concentrate on advanced interventional cardiology, such as structural heart
procedures, AI in cardiac care, and novel drug-eluting stents.
The
Uttar Pradesh government has recognized the rising danger of cardiac illness in
all age groups and is expanding the Hub and Spoke approach, which
connects district hospitals to large institutes like as KGMU, Lohia Institute,
and SGPGI to improve cardiac emergency treatment.
In
a post on X, he stated, “A healthy society is the foundation of a prosperous
nation. With this spirit, today I will participate in the NIC 2026 program
organized by the Cardiological Society of India at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical
University in Lucknow. Amidst the growing challenges of heart disease, this
event is not merely a medical conference, but a meaningful effort to give life
new hope, new energy, and a new direction. By coordinating modern medicine,
research, and compassionate service, this initiative will pave the way for the
fulfillment of the pledge of a Healthy Uttar Pradesh.
