April 10 (HS): Three young men from the same village died tragically on the
spot in a road accident late Wednesday night in the Jamdih area of the Ghosi
police station area of Mau district in Uttar Pradesh. Police arrived at the
scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination and began investigating
the case. Additional Superintendent of Police Anoop Kumar said on Friday that
Bechan Yadav (30), Pramod Yadav (28), and Azad Yadav (32), residents of Bibipur
village, were close friends. The three young men were riding a bike to deliver
food to their friend at a private hospital in Ghosi, where his wife was
admitted after giving birth. While returning from the delivery late Wednesday
night, their bike went out of control near Jamdih and collided with a speeding
Bolero. The impact was so severe that all three young men were seriously
injured and died on the spot.
Upon
receiving information about the incident, police from Ghosi police station
arrived at the scene, took the bodies into custody, and sent them for
post-mortem. Police have seized the Bolero vehicle involved in the accident,
while its driver fled the scene. Meanwhile, as news of the three young men's
deaths reached the village, their families were devastated. Villagers said that
the three young men were always together, and their friendship was considered
an example in the entire area.
The
ASP said that all three young men were riding on the same bike. They were
driving without helmets and suddenly collided with a speeding vehicle, killing
all three. A case has been registered based on the family's complaint and a
search has been launched for the absconding driver.
