Bhubaneswar, 10 April (H.S.): Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday announced its new State Executive Committee, with State President Manmohan Samal releasing the list of members, special invitees, and permanent invitees.

As per the announcement, 72 leaders have been appointed as members of the State Executive Committee, while 38 leaders have been named as Special Invitees and 23 as Permanent Invitees.

The committee includes Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, three Union Ministers, several state Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, and former ministers, reflecting a broad representation of the party’s leadership.

Notably, several leaders who recently joined the BJP after leaving the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) have been accommodated as Special Invitees. In addition, all BJP MPs, MLAs, district in-charges, district presidents, state spokespersons, and coordinators of various party cells have been designated as Permanent Invitees to the State Executive.

The expanded executive body is expected to further strengthen the party’s organisational structure in Odisha, particularly in view of upcoming political challenges and electoral engagements.
