Chennai , 01 April (H.S.):As election activity intensifies across Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is set to hold a statewide virtual interaction with party functionaries on April 3, aiming to sharpen campaign coordination and reinforce organisational strength ahead of polling.
The meeting, convened by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leadership, will take place at 12 noon and will bring together cadres and office-bearers from all Assembly constituencies through a unified video conference platform.
Party sources describe the initiative as a crucial mid-campaign review, intended to assess preparedness at the grassroots level, address operational gaps, and ensure consistency in messaging across regions.
Instructions have been issued to district units to organise collective viewing arrangements in each constituency, enabling wider participation and encouraging a sense of cohesion among cadres rather than relying on individual logins.
The leadership has made attendance mandatory for key office-bearers, including district secretaries, candidates, and functionaries at the area, city, union, and circle levels. Booth-level agents and local organisers have also been asked to attend, highlighting the party’s focus on strengthening booth-level mobilisation.
According to insiders, Stalin is expected to outline the campaign’s core narrative, offer constituency-specific inputs, and reiterate the government’s achievements alongside future commitments. He is also likely to stress discipline within the organisation and refine strategies for voter outreach and alliance coordination.
The video conference link will be shared with district units in advance, ensuring seamless participation across the state.
With the election campaign entering a decisive phase, the DMK views this virtual meet as a strategic move to energise its cadre base, streamline communication, and consolidate its electoral machinery in the run-up to polling.
