New Delhi, 09 March (H.S.): Leader of the House JP Nadda condemned opposition MPs' walkout from Rajya Sabha during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's statement on West Asia tensions as blatantly irresponsible, accusing them of prioritizing disruption over constructive debate.
Under LoP Mallikarjun Kharge's lead, opposition demanded short-notice discussion on the crisis' fallout for India's energy security and economic stability. When denied immediate priority, they protested Jaishankar's remarks before storming out.
Pattern of Evasion
Nadda charged: Opposition sows anarchy, not engagement—despicable conduct on vital national issues. He cited prior walkouts over electoral reforms (Dec 2025), space program, Operation Sindoor, Pahalgam terror attack, and Waqf Bill, warning such antics erode parliamentary democracy while petty politics under PM Modi's watch ensures their irrelevance and demise.
