New Delhi, 09 March (H.S.): The Rajya Sabha on Monday showered accolades on Team India for clinching the ICC Men's T20 World Cup title, marking the Upper House's formal congratulations for the triumphant campaign.

Chairman CP Radakrishnan, on behalf of members, effusively praised the victors. It's a matter of immense national pride that India has won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The team delivered a stellar performance in the final at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, he said.

This marks India's third T20 World Cup crown—and a back-to-back feat, following the previous edition's success. Radakrishnan highlighted the milestone: India becomes the first host nation to lift the trophy on home soil.The squad's tournament dominance thrilled millions of cricket fans nationwide.
