
New Delhi, 09 March (H.S.): As Parliament's Budget Session Phase II dawned Monday, opposition parties staged a fiery protest in the Parliament complex, slamming the government for its perceived reticence on West Asia's escalating tensions.The INDIA bloc MPs gathered at Makar Dwar, brandishing posters and banners decrying the Modi regime's silence amid the US-Israel-Iran military clash. They accused New Delhi of stonewalling debate on India's energy security and expatriate vulnerabilities.
Leading the charge were Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Kishori Lal Sharma, and others. Slogans rent the air as they waved placards targeting the government's stance on the crisis gripping the Gulf.
