
New Delhi, 09 March (H.S.): Chaos erupted in the Lok Sabha during the ongoing Budget Session on Monday, forcing Speaker NK Ramchandran to adjourn proceedings until noon amid relentless sloganeering by opposition members.The pandemonium began moments after the House convened, with opposition MPs raising a barrage of issues through vociferous protests. Unable to restore order, the presiding officer had no choice but to suspend sittings.
Meanwhile, in the Rajya Sabha, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar delivered a statement on the escalating West Asia crisis. He reiterated that the Central government expressed deep concern on February 20, urging all parties to exercise restraint. India firmly believes dialogue and diplomacy remain the most effective path to de-escalation.
