New Delhi, 09 March (H.S.): India's domestic bullion markets opened with a tentative downward trend in early trading today, reflecting modest price declines for gold and silver.Across most major sarafa bazaars, 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,63,640 and ₹1,63,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold hovered in the range of ₹1,49,990 to ₹1,50,140 per 10 grams.

In Delhi's Bullion market, silver fetched ₹2,84,900 per kilogram.In the national capital, Delhi, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,63,790 per 10 grams, with 22-carat at ₹1,50,140. Mumbai, the country's financial hub, saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,63,640 and 22-carat at ₹1,49,990 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad recorded 24-carat at ₹1,63,690 and 22-carat at ₹1,50,040 per 10 grams.

Other key cities followed suit: Chennai and Kolkata both listed 24-carat gold at ₹1,63,640 and 22-carat at ₹1,49,990 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, prices stood at ₹1,63,690 for 24-carat and ₹1,50,040 for 22-carat. Lucknow and Jaipur mirrored Delhi's rates at ₹1,63,790 (24-carat) and ₹1,50,140 (22-carat) per 10 grams, while Patna aligned with Ahmedabad at ₹1,63,690 and ₹1,50,040 respectively.

The subdued sentiment extended to other regions, including Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha. In their capitals—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold traded at ₹1,63,640 per 10 grams, with 22-carat at ₹1,49,990.

Traders attribute the slight dip to global cues and profit-taking, though volumes remained steady in early sessions.
