Agra,
07 March (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when society,
government, and institutions begin to think in one direction, the result is
trust. Trust should be our greatest asset. People have to make efforts to
achieve this. Today, Uttar Pradesh has become a symbol of trust.
The
Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Yatharth
Hospital in Agra on Saturday. In his address, he noted the positive changes in
the medical field in Uttar Pradesh over the past nine years, saying that
nothing is more important than health. Healthcare should be accurate,
affordable, and reliable. He expressed hope that the Yatharth Group will
deliver results and earn merit by providing healthy lives to people. The
government is also ready to provide all possible support in this area.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath said that every person should have the right to good
health care and every sovereign country should provide this facility to its
citizens. In 11 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has
got a new identity in the world. We all are witnessing a new India. We are
seeing India emerging as the third largest economy in the world. Here there is
a wonderful form of coordination between heritage and development and we are
also seeing all the concepts of holistic development being inaugurated in
reality. Along with highways, expressways, metro, new railway lines and
technology, we are enjoying travelling in Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, Namo
Bharat.
The
Chief Minister said that the government is making efforts on its own, but when
the government and society work together, the results are multiplied. Private
investment in this sector is essential today. Healthy competition requires the
government to make efforts and the private sector to step forward. The
government is introducing a new policy for super-specialty hospitals from the
private sector. The government is also providing support if anyone invests in
new medical colleges. The Chief Minister called on the Yatharth Group to come
forward to establish a medical college in any district. The Chief Minister said
that the Medical Council has simplified its requirements. This is the best time
to establish new medical institutions and make Uttar Pradesh a center of
advanced medical education for young people. The government is ready to provide
all possible support. The Chief Minister said that this is the eighth hospital
of the Yatharth Group.
Chief
Minister Yogi said that earlier there was only one AIIMS in the country, Atal
ji increased the number to six and Modi ji increased it to 23. A long chain of
IITs, IIMs, NITs, and Triple ITs was established. As the country grows, even
the state with the largest population is not lagging behind. Before 2017, there
were only 17 medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh, today 81 medical colleges are
operating. Previously, the 'One District, One Mafia' system dominated the
state. Earlier, the governments' thinking was limited to the mafia, so they
created mafias, whereas the double-engine government has given a medical
college to every district. Today, two AIIMS (Rae Bareli and Gorakhpur) are
operating in the state. The double-engine government has implemented
development and welfare schemes. More than 60 million people have risen above
the poverty line and are living normal lives.
He
said that there was a time when a family fell ill, causing chaos and forcing
people to mortgage their belongings. Today, Modi has provided health insurance
under Ayushman Bharat. Golden cards have been issued to 56 million people in
Uttar Pradesh. This number is soon set to reach 100 million. The state's
Shiksha Mitras, teachers, instructors, Anganwadi and Asha workers, and cooks
number over 1 million. They have also been provided with cashless healthcare
benefits worth five lakh rupees. 1,300 crore rupees have been made available
from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for healthcare. Along with providing
numerous services, including free dialysis and CT scans, work has also begun to
introduce new technologies from the world.
The
Chief Minister said that Centers of Excellence for MedTech are being
established at IIT Kanpur and SGPGI Lucknow. To ensure that medicines are
produced in Uttar Pradesh, rather than imported, a 1,500-acre pharma park is
being developed in Lalitpur. To ensure medical equipment is also manufactured
in Uttar Pradesh, a 350-acre medical device park is being established on the
Yamuna Expressway. Telemedicine has been established in the state.
