Gorakhpur,
05 March (HS): On the auspicious occasion of Rangotsav, a Holi Milan ceremony
was organized at the Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday afternoon under the
leadership of Gorakhpeethadhiswar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this
occasion, Chief Minister Yogi showered flowers on the crowd gathered at the
Holi Milan event and extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone
for Holi. At the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that only those forces that
move forward with positive thinking are always victorious.
Speaking
at the Holi Milan ceremony held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan
auditorium of the Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi said that there are
always two types of forces in society: one positive and the other negative.
Negative forces always encourage destructive activities, while positive forces
move forward with a good plan of action, and their results are always pleasant.
Celebrating Holi with peace, joy, happiness, and enthusiasm is also the result
of moving forward with positive thinking.
The
Chief Minister said that the followers of Sanatan Dharma living in the country
and the world felt proud of their heritage by celebrating Holi, the great
festival of harmony, with zeal and enthusiasm. Only those people question the
superiority of Sanatan Dharma who do not feel the significance of a festival
like Holi. There is neither discrimination nor untouchability in a festival
like Holi. The festivals and celebrations of Sanatan Dharma are associated with
some important transformative event. Through these, our Rishi tradition has
inspired the society to follow a new direction, the path of religion and duty.
The festivals and celebrations of Sanatan Dharma are not solitary but have a
sense of collectivity in them. Every section of the society participates in it.
India
thinks in the right direction: The Chief Minister said that while the world is
in chaos today, festivals are being celebrated with peace and joy in India.
This is because India's thinking has always been positive. India thinks in the
right direction. India has never said or done anything bad to anyone. And, when
it has not done or said anything bad, it has never suffered any harm either.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that for the country's progress, we must all
fulfill our civic responsibilities in our respective areas with a nation-first
spirit. Devotion must be linked to patriotism. Lord Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, and
Narasimha will be present in every era; the need is to awaken devotion like
that of Hanuman, Arjun, and Prahlad.
CM
Yogi enjoyed Holi songs, played Holi with flowers: In the Holi Milan program,
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath enjoyed Holi songs presented by well-known folk
singer Rakesh Srivastava and his team. MP Ravi Kishan also sang Holi songs.
After listening to the Holi songs, the Chief Minister played Holi with flowers
by showering flowers on the people present. Many public representatives, saints
and a large number of citizens participated on this occasion.
