Bhubaneswar, 05 March (H.S.): A secretary-level review meeting was held on Thursday morning at the conference hall of Kharavel Bhavan under the chairmanship of State Chief Secretary Anu Garg.

The meeting focused on a detailed review of the state’s financial position and the expenditure progress under the 2025-26 fiscal year budget up to the end of February 2026.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed all departments to ensure that budgeted expenditures for the current month are utilized in accordance with approved allocations. She also emphasized the need for proper planning and preparation for the successful implementation of new schemes and programmes proposed in the budget for the upcoming 2026-27 fiscal year.

The meeting was attended by Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, additional chief secretaries of various departments, principal secretaries, commissioners, and other senior administrative officials.
