Mumbai, 3` Mar (HS): As many as ten IAS

officers were transferred on Tuesday, to expedite work with various important

departments.

Ashivini Bhide, who was Additional Chief

Secretary to the Chief Minister has been appointed Brihanmumbai Municipal

Commissioner. She will be replaced by 1993 batch IAS officer Lokesh Chandra. He

was holding the position of CMD of MSEDCL. Bhide has been given additional

charge as Managing Director of Mumbai Metro.

Chandra include Vikas Chandra Rastogi (1995 batch) as Additioan Chief Secretary,

Finance; Vinita Vaid Singhal (1996) – Chief Secretary, Soil and Water ; Conservation;

Primal Singh (2004) – Secretary (Agri), Agriculture and ADF; Tukaram Mundhe

(2005) – Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation; Lahu Mali (2009) –

Managing Director, Shivshahi Rehabilitation Project; Manik Gursal (2009) –

Secretary, Divyang Welfare; Prerana Deshbhratar (2010) – Commissioner,

Fisheries Department; Prithviraj B P (2014) – Commissioner, Virar-Vasai

Municipal Corporation.
