
New Delhi, 30 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi heads to his home state Gujarat on Tuesday March 31 for a packed one-day visit inaugurating key spiritual industrial and infrastructure projects worth over 20000 crore rupees.
The Prime Minister's Office said PM Modi will kick off the semiconductor push with a plant launch alongside a slew of developments in power rail roads health urban tribal and rural sectors.
Jain Heritage and Tech Leap
PM Modi's day starts at 10am in Gandhinagar's Koba Tirth unveiling the Samrat Samprati Museum for Mahavir Jayanti dedicated to Emperor Samprati Jainism's great patron.
Spanning seven galleries the museum showcases over 2000 rare artifacts ancient manuscripts and stone metal idols using digital tech to trace Jainism's evolution.
At 12:45pm in Ahmedabad's Sanand GIDC PM Modi opens the Kaynes Semicon plant India's second commercial semiconductor unit after Micron producing advanced intelligent power modules for automotive and industrial use at 633 million units daily capacity.
Roads Rails and Renewables
He will lay foundation stones for projects over 20000 crore including the Ahmedabad-Dholera expressway new flyovers on Gandhinagar-Koba-Airport road and the Khawda pooling station for solar energy transmission.
Rail upgrades feature doubling of Kanals-Jamnagar and Rajkot-Kanls lines plus a new Khadbhrama-Himmatnagar-Asarva train service while Banaskantha and Patan districts get pipeline projects for clean water to millions.
Other highlights include light-and-sound shows at Rani ki Vav and Sharmishtha Lake night shelters at civil hospitals a Vejalpur hostel for tribal students pursuing higher education and more.
The visit bolsters Gujarat's industrial social and cultural foundations officials added.
