Amethi , 29
March (HS): Congress MP Kishori Lal Sharma said on Sunday that the law and
order situation in Uttar Pradesh has crumbled, stating that FIRs are not being
lodged, women are in danger, and the land mafia has taken control. Sharma cited
a recent event in Barabanki as an illustration of the deteriorating law and
order situation, stating that the violent death of a youth, with his head
chopped and an effort made to burn his body. Speaking to media in Amethi, MP
said that victims are frequently denied justice at police stations. FIRs are
not getting lodged, and people are racing about like crazy. Despite 'Mission
Shakti's lofty boasts, our women and daughters are in danger. Such incidents
arrive on a daily basis, he added, adding that the government's vows to uphold
law and order are absolutely fake.
In terms
of development in Amethi, Sharma argued that the majority of the work was
completed before to 2014, and that BJP-led governments had subsequently
neglected the constituency. Since 2014, work in Amethi has been motivated by a
feeling of revenge. He stated that projects such as Mega Food Park, Hindustan
Paper Mill, and Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology had been
canceled. When asked about the bad condition of Amethi's roads, Sharma blamed
BJP regimes at both the national and state levels.
My party
does not control either the centre or the state. There is a minister from this
district in the UP government, as well as BJP MLAs and the district panchayat
chairman, but no attention is paid, he stated, adding that he is working
tirelessly to improve road conditions as soon as possible.
