(HS): The Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Police provided a thorough advise ahead of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Noida International Airport's
inaugural event on March 28. Entry routes have been defined, parking zones have
been separated, and commercial vehicles have been redirected. The alert will be
in effect from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, with provisions prepared to
ensure the uninterrupted passage of emergency vehicles such as ambulances and
fire trucks. Vehicles from Meerut and Ghaziabad will be routed via the Eastern
Peripheral Expressway, departing at Sirsa Toll and going via designated
roundabouts before reaching the site, where separate parking zones (P-07
(Meerut) and P-06 (Ghaziabad) have been demarcated.
Traffic
traveling between Mathura and Aligarh on the Yamuna Expressway will depart at
Jewar Cut and enter at Sabauta Underpass and Kishorpur Gate, with parking
available in zones P-05, P-09, and P-11. Vehicles from Hapur, Bulandshahr, and
the surrounding districts will be redirected via the Jewar-Khurja route and
enter at Parohi Gate, with parking in zones P-13 and P-14. Dignitaries will
reach the site by the designated Yamuna Expressway interchange and park in
zones P-01, P-02, and P-03, while media persons will enter through Kishorpur
Gate and park in P-08. Police, administrative officials, and government
employees on duty will also utilize the Kishorpur Gate, with parking assigned
at P-10, while official buses will be routed through Dayanantpur and parked at
P15.
Commuters
traveling from Noida and Greater Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway
will be routed around certain roundabouts and service roads before entering
through a temporary gate at Ranehra Police Post, with parking mostly at P-07. Vehicles
from Greater Noida West and the neighboring areas will be routed through Pari
Chowk, while those from Dankaur and the surrounding territories will use
service roads and canal routes to reach specified entrance points. Two-wheelers
and light motor vehicles will be permitted via Kishorpur Gate, with parking at
P-04, while cars from Jewar town would utilize the same gate and park at P-12.
Commercial
vehicles on the Jewar-Tappal road would be diverted to Tappal, while those
traveling from Khurja to Jewar will be halted and rerouted. To ensure that the
high-profile event runs well, officials recommended commuters to stick to
approved routes and avoid needless travel near the venue.
