25 March (HS): A two-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop was
organized at the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission office to promote
modern technology and innovation. Chaired by Mission Director Pulkit Khare, the
workshop was attended by department officials and employees.
At the
conclusion of the workshop, Mission Director Pulkit Khare stated that the
effective use of technology is becoming a means of increasing both speed and
quality in administrative work. He added that the use of AI in daily tasks such
as data management, filing, and report preparation can save time and ensure
accuracy. He directed officials to implement the techniques learned in the
workshop in their work areas to achieve the mission's goals with greater speed
and efficiency.
A team of
experts, specially flown in from Himachal Pradesh for the training sessions,
briefed employees on the practical uses of AI in sessions lasting approximately
six hours. Various AI tools and software were demonstrated, demonstrating how
complex and time-consuming tasks can be completed effectively and in a short time.
The
workshop focused on increasing efficiency through prompt
engineering and automation. Staff were taught how to simplify and
simplify tasks such as quick document analysis, accurate data entry, and report
generation. The workshop also highlighted that the use of AI will digitally
empower the Mission's monitoring and reporting systems, making field operations
more effective and transparent.
During the
training session, employees also asked various questions related to the use of
AI, which experts provided solutions with examples. It was explained that tasks
that previously took hours can now be completed in just a few minutes through
AI. At the end of the workshop, the Mission Director directed all officers and
employees to adopt modern technologies and bring innovation to administrative
work, so that skill development programs in the state can be made more
effective.
