25 March (HS):.The City Congress Committee members have expressed their wishes

for the speedy recovery of Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson and former

President Sonia Gandhi, who has been admitted to Gangaram Hospital in Delhi due

to deteriorating health. An emergency meeting of the City Congress Committee

was held on Wednesday evening at the party office, Chowk under the chairmanship

of President Fuzail Hashmi.

Congress

members prayed to God for Soniaji’s quick recovery. They said that she is a

symbol of service, struggle, and sacrifice, who has always placed national

interest above personal interest. Despite facing numerous challenges, she has

never stepped back from her principles, policies, or values. Soniaji, counted

among the powerful women of the world, possesses remarkable grace and dignity.

She set an

example globally by declining the important position of Prime Minister twice.

In Sonia ji, Congress has received strong leadership, which has not only faced challenges

firmly from time to time but has also taken visionary steps necessary for the

progress of society. Her spirit of service, simplicity, struggle, and

dedication has infused new energy and hope into the party. Speakers expressed

hope that she will continue to strengthen the party and the nation in the

future as well.
