21 March (HS): A meeting is underway at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state

headquarters regarding the formation of district committees for the Kanpur

region. The meeting, attended by State President Pankaj Chaudhary and State

General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh, includes BJP regional

presidents, regional in-charges, district observers, district in-charges, and

district presidents. The names of the district committees will be discussed in

this meeting. Following Kanpur, a meeting for the Kashi region is scheduled.

Meetings for the Awadh region and Gorakh region will be held on Sunday.

It is

expected that the committees for the districts falling within Kanpur, Kashi,

Awadh, and Gorakh regions will be announced soon. It is noteworthy that the

party previously sent senior BJP leaders as district observers to build

consensus at the district level. The observers interacted with senior party

leaders and former district presidents at the district level and submitted a list

of loyal workers to the state leadership. BJP State Co-Media In-Charge Himanshu

Dubey stated that the process of forming district committees is in its final

stages and will be announced soon.
