Jammu, 21 March (H.S.): The JKUT president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Darshan Rana made a special visit to the Ramgarh Assembly constituency to attend a tribute ceremony organized by party leader Gurudev Thapa, where he paid homage to Gurudev Thapa’s parents.

On this occasion, he was accompanied by senior BSP leaders, including Jagdish Verma and Bansi Lal, among others. Following his participation in the tribute ceremony, BSP state chief Darshan Rana held a crucial meeting with party workers, during which detailed discussions were held regarding strategies to strengthen the party organization at the grassroot level.

Rana urged the party workers to contribute their efforts toward the policies and ideologies of party founder Kanshi Ram and party president Mayawati to every section of the public. He emphasized that it is imperative for the BSP to come to power in order to secure justice for people belonging to the Dalit and backward classes within society; this, he noted, would only be possible if party workers play a pivotal role in fortifying the organization at the grassroots level.

Assuring the leadership during the meeting, the party workers pledged that they would strive to take the party’s policies to the common people.

During the meeting, senior party leaders—including Jagdish Verma and Bansi Lal, along with others, also shared their views.
