March (HS): President Droupadi Murmu met with renowned saint Premanand Maharaj

in Vrindavan today during the second day of her visit. On Friday morning, the

President arrived at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram, where she met and

spoke with Premanand Maharaj. Tight security arrangements have been made

throughout the Mathura-Vrindavan area for the President's visit. She arrived at

the Ashram at around 7:30 am amid tight security.

Maharaj explained to the President the glory of Braj and the importance of

service. This spiritual gathering attracted the attention of not only the

residents of Braj but also devotees from across the country. Upon arriving at

the ashram, Premanand Maharaj's disciples and entourage gave the President a

grand and traditional welcome. Following this, a conversation took place

between President Murmu and Pujya Maharaj.

During

this meeting, discussions focused on profound topics such as spirituality,

selfless service, and public welfare. The President will also visit the

memorial of Neem Karoli Baba. In the evening, she will inaugurate a new

oncology block at the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama. During her visit, the

President will also stop at Vatsalya Gram, an institution founded by Sadhvi

Ritambhara. Her visit will conclude on March 21 with prayers at the Dangahati

Temple in Govardhan. She will perform the traditional seven-mile Govardhan

Parikrama before leaving for New Delhi.

In view of

the President's visit to Mathura and Vrindavan, the district administration has

made strict security arrangements. District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh

has declared the entire district a 'no-fly zone' in view of security reasons

and possible threats from terrorist organizations. According to the order

issued by the District Magistrate, this ban has come into effect in the Mathura

district limits from 10 am on March 19 and will remain in effect till 5 pm on

March 21. During this period, there will be a complete ban on flying drones, kites

or any type of balloons in the district.
