
New Delhi, 20 March (H.S.): On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit subhashitam extolling the divine and benevolent grace of Devi Brahmacharini, the second form revered during Chaitra Navratri.
In a poignant post on X, the Prime Minister reflected on the profound spiritual ambiance of Navratri, noting that the recitation of the Sanskrit verse vividly portrays the goddess's divine compassion. He described the devotion-filled atmosphere of Maa Ambe worship as one that infuses the soul with boundless peace and vitality, with echoes of faith resonating deeply within hearts.
PM Modi also shared a devotional bhajan dedicated to the Mother Goddess.He offered prostrations at the feet of Maa Brahmacharini, praying for her continued blessings on all devotees, and quoted the shloka: “Dadhanā karapadmābhyām akṣamālākamaṇḍalu। Devi prasīdatu mayi Brahmachāriṇyanuttamā।।” This translates to: May the supreme Devi Brahmacharini, holding a rosary and water pot in her lotus-like hands, bestow her grace upon me.
