16 March (HS): Under the Tundla police station, an Eco vehicle transporting
pilgrims returning from Mathura caught fire. The fire department responded and
extinguished the fire. Fortunately, all of the passengers in the Eco vehicle
were safe. Late Sunday night, there was commotion on the highway near the
village of Mohammadabad, which is within the authority of the Tundla police
station, when large flames began to rise from the wheel of an Eco vehicle that
was driving down the route. People became alarmed when they saw this. When the
Eco driver heard the noise, he instantly halted his car. The folks in the Eco
car likewise quickly exited the vehicle and rescued themselves. A mob had
assembled at the place.
Upon
receiving the information, the Tundla police station along with the fire
brigade team reached the spot. The fire team immediately controlled the fire.
The car was being driven by Karan Singh, a resident of the village of
Bargadpur, under the jurisdiction of the Basai Mohammadpur police station. He
said that he was returning to Firozabad after touring passengers to Mathura. He
said that there was no loss of life in the accident and everyone is safe.
