Mumbai, 13 Mar (HS): Renowned film actress Deepika Padukone has raised the issue of worsening air quality in Mumbai. In her Instagram post she has shared a story and screen shots, showing the Air Quality Index in Mumbai above 150. Deepika has mentioned

that the people in Mumbai, particularly children are suffering from health

related issues due to air pollution. Children in Mumbai are suffocating, which

is not proper.

Deepika is not alone

in raising the concern. Earlier actress Richa Chaddha and Sayami Kher has

sought attention towards growing pollution due to continuous rise in vehicles

and construction work, besides the changes in environment.
