Delhi, 10 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday greetings to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, wishing him good health and a long life.

In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister said, “Greetings to Jammu and Kashmir CM Shri Omar Abdullah Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with a long life and wonderful health.”

Omar Abdullah has been serving as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir since October 2024. He earlier held the position from 2009 to 2015.

A senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Abdullah has also served as a Member of Parliament and as Union Minister of State. He represents the third generation of his family in politics.
