Ajmer, 28 February (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress here on Saturday, alleging that just as the Muslim League's hatred towards India led to Partition, the Congress today pursues politics aimed at tarnishing the nation's image and weakening it.

Addressing a rally after inaugurating development projects worth over ₹16,680 crore, PM Modi cited the Indian Youth Congress's recent 'shirtless protest' at the AI Summit in Delhi as an attempt to defame India before foreign dignitaries and leaders who had praised its achievements.

He accused a frustrated Congress—reeling from repeated electoral defeats—of damaging India's global standing and branded it the MMC: Muslim League-Maoist Congress, claiming it aligns with forces undermining the Constitution and democracy. PM Modi also charged Congress with past scams in defense deals and delaying One Rank One Pension for soldiers, contrasting it with his government's focus on armed forces' welfare.

Recalling Rajasthan soldier Major Dalpat Singh's heroism in Haifa's liberation—still honored in Israel—PM Modi hailed Ajmer as land of faith and valor. He highlighted the BJP's double-engine government's two-year milestone, launching highway projects like Bandikui-Jaipur expressway, renewable energy grids, drinking water schemes, and distributing over 21,800 appointment letters to youth amid vows to end paper leaks.

PM Modi launched a nationwide HPV vaccination drive for 14-year-old girls to combat cervical cancer, stressing: A healthy mother strengthens the entire family.
