New Delhi, 28 February (H.S.): Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi voiced deep concern over the escalating Iran-Israel conflict on Saturday, urging the Indian government to make the safety of Indian citizens in West Asia its top priority.

In an X post, Gandhi highlighted the rapidly intensifying hostilities between the US-Israel alliance and Iran as deeply worrying. He stressed that protecting every Indian living in the Middle East must be paramount.

Gandhi appealed to the government to implement immediate and effective steps ensuring the security of Indians in the region amid the volatile situation.
