New Delhi, 28 February (H.S.): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided five premises linked to Indian Ordnance Factory Service officer Amit Singh on Friday in a disproportionate assets case, seizing jewellery worth ₹49 lakh, ₹5 lakh in cash, and property documents.

Singh, a 1998-batch officer, served as Chief General Manager at the Ordnance Equipment Factory in Hazratpur, Firozabad from 2022 to 2025 and is currently posted at Troop Comforts Limited Training Academy in Kanpur.

The agency registered the case on February 26, alleging he acquired assets worth ₹55.58 lakh—73.28% above his known income—between April 1, 2022, and December 31, 2025.Raids targeted residential and office locations in Agra, Lucknow, Bareilly, and Kanpur, uncovering documents for three properties: flats purchased in Agra (2025) and Lucknow (2023). Bank passbooks, loan papers, credit cards, vehicle records, and investment details were also recovered.
