26 Feb (HS): On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid a
visit to Yamanashi, Japan, and spoke with local and Indian diaspora kids in a
Yamanashi public school. During his visit, he saw a hydrogen facility to
promote industrial collaboration and met with youngsters who recited shlokas to
demonstrate strong cultural links.
Children
of Indian heritage greeted Yogi Adityanath, some caressing his feet and
uttering shlokas. The Chief Minister met with kids at a Yamanashi school, with
an emphasis on strengthening educational and cultural ties between Uttar
Pradesh and Japan. This trip is part of a wider two-nation tour (Singapore and
Japan) aimed at increasing investment, expanding economic ties, and promoting
renewable energy technology.
In
addition to touring the school, the CM conducted high-level discussions with
Yamanashi Prefecture Governor Kotaro Nagasaki and saw sophisticated hydrogen
facilities. The visit focused boosting Uttar Pradesh's $1 trillion economy
through technical and industrial cooperation with Japan.
