26 Feb (HS): On February 25-26, 2026, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath led an investment roadshow lure Japanese enterprises, with a

specific emphasis on collaboration with Yamanashi Prefecture on green hydrogen

and power-to-gas technologies. The visit aims to boost investment in

sophisticated manufacturing, urban development, and infrastructure.

Collaboration with Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture is critical, and pilot projects

in green hydrogen are currently underway along the Yamuna Expressway.

Adityanath met with investors , promoting Uttar Pradesh's infrastructure,

safety, and trained workforce (56% young) in order to attract industrial and

technological investments. The discussions focused on vehicles, logistics,

electronics, and sophisticated engineering, with the goal of boosting UP's

industrial development and to improve economic links and establish UP as a

worldwide industrial powerhouse.

In

a post on X, he stated, “Participated in the Uttar Pradesh Investment Roadshow

today to provide new energy to the relations between Uttar Pradesh and Japan's

Yamanashi province in the field of investment and innovation along with

international cooperation. Under successful Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi

guidance, we have transformed our policies in Uttar Pradesh from being reactive

to proactive, and the results are before us all. My heartfelt gratitude to the

Honorable Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture and his entire team, as well as to

all the officials associated with the Indian Embassy, for facilitating this

trip safely.”
