Mumbai, 26 Feb (HS): Nationalist Congress Party (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar

reached Baramati to lodge a police complaint against Director General of Civil

Aviation (DGCA) and VSR Ventures Pvt Ltd in connection with the death of Deputy

Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a plane crash.

Rohit Pawar has demanded registering an FIR against DGCA and VSR,

following report of the DGCA directing the company to ground five of its

aircraft. Two aircraft of the company crashed, one of which on January 28 in

which Ajit Pawar died with four others.

Pawar said that the issue needs investigation in depth, as the aircraft

which was not fully examined was given to Ajit Pawar. The accident was

investigated as a criminal act. He alleged that influential people are not willing

to investigate the case as criminal offence. Therefore police are not ready to

register FIR in the case, He will continue to struggle for registration of the

case with the police.

Meanwhile, UBT Sena leader Sanjay Raut has also expressed doubt about

the case of plane crash. DCM Sunetra Pawar should talk to Chief Minister

Devendra fadnavis in this connection.

DCM Eknath Shinde has announced that he has decided not to travel by any

aircraft of VSR Company. Shiv Sena (Shinde) MLA Arjun Khotkar that Rohit Pawar

is not wrong in demanding enquiry through police, but it may affect the law and

order situation.

BJP MLA

Atul Bhatkhalkar said that GDCA is investigating. The issue should not be

politicised.
