Guwahati, 26 February (HS): A programme on “Empowerment of Adolescent Girls” will be organised on Thursday as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Saptah. The initiative is being hosted by Lok Bhavan, Assam in association with the Department of Women and Child Development, Assam and UNICEF.

The ceremonial programme will be held at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara. It will be graced by the Governor of Assam, Lakshman Prasad Acharya.

The event aims to highlight initiatives focused on the welfare, education, health, and overall development of adolescent girls in the state.----------
