
Kaziranga (Assam), 26 February (HS): In a major anti-narcotics operation, police seized drugs valued at approximately ₹4 crore from Bagori in Kaziranga. The contraband was recovered from a truck during a routine checking operation.
According to official sources, a total of 80,000 Yaba tablets were found concealed inside the vehicle. The tablets were allegedly being transported from Manipur to Goalpara.
Police have taken the truck driver into custody along with another accused identified as Rafiqul Islam in connection with the seizure. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the network involved in the trafficking operation.-----------
