22 Feb (HS): Energy and Urban Development Minister AK Sharma on Sunday walked

several kilometers in Sushma Nagar Colony, Gilat Bazaar, Laxmanpur and

Raghuvanshi Nagar of Shivpur area in Varanasi to inspect the morning cleaning

and door-to-door garbage collection work. During this, Minister AK Sharma

talked to the local people and got their opinion regarding cleanliness and put

forward his views. Along with this, councilors, Municipal Commissioner, Joint

Municipal Commissioner and many officers and employees of the Municipal

Corporation were present.

AK Sharma said that during the morning inspection in Varanasi, the dedication

of our sanitation workers was evident. The hard work of sanitation workers has

made every city in the state sparkle and smell good. During the morning

inspection in Varanasi, our sanitation workers were found cleaning every

neighborhood, every street, and every intersection. This brings me immense

personal joy.
