Lucknow,
22 Feb (HS): Mayawati, the chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party, presided over an
all-India party conference here on Sunday to assess organizational
strengthening, social base growth, and significant political developments
across the nation.
The
discussion, held in the BSP's central camp office on Mall Avenue, also
discussed recent political concerns, connected events, and the clashes and
stalemates seen in Parliament, according to a party statement. Party leaders
evaluated progress on instructions made at the previous all-India conference in
New Delhi on December 19, 2025, and discussed strategies for addressing
important public issues.
Mayawati praised party workers for their
efforts despite purported barriers from competing parties and administrations,
and stated that the BSP would continue to seek the master key to power through
democratic methods.
Mayawati
accused other parties' policies of undermining their credibility, claiming that
the BSP's governance record in Uttar Pradesh, based on Sarvajan Hitay,
Sarvajan Sukhay and the rule of law had increased public expectations.
Taking
notice of reported concerns raised in the country over trade deals with other
nations, including an interim agreement with the United States, Mayawati stated
that cutthroat rivalry among countries to be first has driven the exploitative
global order into greater crises. In such circumstances, the Indian government
confronts a significant task in protecting the interests and future of the
country's farmers and Bahujans, she stated. If India has truly completed trade
agreements on its own terms, it would be preferable if this was a fact rather
than a government assertion, Mayawati stated.
