Lucknow,

21 Feb (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Singapore

on February 22. Following this, he is scheduled to visit Japan. This will be

Yogi's first visit to Japan. His agenda is to attract investment to Uttar

Pradesh. This time, the Chief Minister will again wear his traditional saffron

kurta-chola on his foreign trip. He is often seen in this attire at both

national government events and international forums. Political analysts believe

that this has become a part of his personal and ideological identity. Japan's

state-of-the-art Maglev (magnetic levitation) train, which uses magnetic power

to propel itself above the tracks, will be a special attraction of Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath's Japan visit. During his stay in Japan, the Chief

Minister will undertake a 100-kilometer test ride on this high-speed train,

consisting of 50 kilometers going forward and 50 kilometers returning.

Maglev

trains are being touted as the future of modern transportation: Magnetic

technology eliminates direct contact between the train and the track, reducing

friction to almost zero. This is why this train is capable of achieving speeds

of over 600 kilometers per hour. Japan is rapidly working towards opening a

maglev corridor between Tokyo and Nagoya by 2027, which will reduce travel time

between the two cities by more than half.

The

Chief Minister's visit is also considered significant for the expansion of

modern transportation infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. The firsthand experience

of futuristic technologies like Maglev is considered useful for policymaking

and long-term planning. According to Japanese experts, this train uses

superconducting magnets and a state-of-the-art guideway system, which provides

it with high speed, stability, and safety. Currently operating in trial

operation, this train exemplifies Japan's technological capabilities.

Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath will depart for Singapore from Lucknow on February 22.

He will attend various meetings and events on February 23 and 24. He will also

be in Japan on February 25 and 26, where he will participate in various events.
