Imphal West (Manipur), 21 February (HS): Security forces arrested a rebel from the proscribed outfit KCP (PSC) during an operation carried out in Imphal West district on Friday.

According to official sources, the arrested individual has been identified as Chanambam Henba Singh alias Lanchenba (21), a resident of Iroisemba Mang Hiden, Lane No. 10, under Imphal West district. He was apprehended from the Tera Lukram Leirak area under Lamphel Police Station.

Further investigation is underway to ascertain his involvement in unlawful activities and to identify other possible links of the outfit in the region, officials added.----------
