21 Feb (HS): Guyana's Vice President Dr. Bharat Jagdeo reached Ayodhya and
visited Ram Lalla. He will stay in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex for about three
hours and observe the temple construction work. The administration and the
temple trust informed him about the progress of the project. This visit will
strengthen India-Guyana cultural relations. Another important link is going to
be added between the cultural relations of India and Guyana. Vice President of
the South American country Guyana, Dr. Bharat Jagdeo reached Ayodhya on
Saturday morning. His private plane landed at Valmiki International Airport at
9:40 am.
After
a ceremonial welcome at the airport, the Vice President proceeded directly to
the Ram Temple complex by road. He arrived at the Ram Temple complex around
11:15 a.m. He paid his respects at the court of Lord Ram. He will also observe
the temple construction work. Dr. Jagdev will remain at the Ram Janmabhoomi
complex for approximately three hours. Tight security arrangements have been
made during the visit. Administrative officials and representatives of the
temple trust will brief him on the progress of construction and future plans.
After the darshan and inspection, the Vice President will depart directly for
the airport.
