Mumbai, 21 Feb (HS): Maharashtra Minister Dada Bhuse
withdrew the defamation case against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, after
the latter apologised for his mistake.
Raut had levelled charges against Bhuse relating to
a sugar mill. The charges of financial fraud amounting to Rs 178 crore, led to
Bhuse moving the Malegaon Magisterial Court against Raut.
Raut said that on verification of documents the
amount of Rs 178 crore was mistaken for Rs 1.78 crore. He apologised to Bhuse.
Bhuse and Raut made an application to the Malegaon
Court to withdraw the case.
