20 Feb (HS): On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished the people of
Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh a happy Statehood Day. Yogi Adityanath routinely
expresses cordial congratulations to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and
Mizoram on their Statehood Day (February 20), recognizing their contributions
to India's development and cultural diversity.
Under the Double Engine government style, Yogi Adityanath
frequently praises development, infrastructural expansion, and Act East policy
measures that connect Uttar Pradesh to North Eastern states such as Arunachal
Pradesh. On February 20, 2026, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram celebrate their
39th anniversary as complete states.
In
a post on X, he mentioned, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the
people of Arunachal Pradesh on the foundation day of Arunachal Pradesh, the 'Arunodaya
Province', filled with the supernatural beauty of nature. It is my wish that
under the able leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji's and
successful guidance of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri @PemaKhanduBJP, this
glorious state should move ahead on the path of continuous progress, prosperity
and self-reliance.”
In
another post on X, he stated, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all
Mizoram residents on the occasion of the Statehood Day of Mizoram, a state
blessed with natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. May your lives be
filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity, this is my prayer to Lord Shri
Ram.”
