With the departure of winter, the weather across the state appears to be changing. The maximum temperature has already reached 30 degrees Celsius, while a slight chill is still felt in the morning. This has increased public curiosity about the weather in the coming days.

According to the Alipore Meteorological Department, the daytime temperature in Kolkata on Friday will be around 30 degrees Celsius and the nighttime temperature will remain around 20 degrees Celsius. However, temperatures in the districts of South Bengal may rise by two to three degrees Celsius over the next two days. After this, no significant increase in temperatures is expected for the next three days.

The probability of fog is reported to be relatively high in the Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, and Cooch Behar districts of North Bengal. However, there is no possibility of dense fog in any district of South Bengal.

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur at one or two places in East Medinipur district on February 24th.

On Friday, Kolkata's minimum temperature was recorded at 19.2 degrees Celsius, which is 0.3 degrees below normal. On Thursday, the maximum temperature was 30.6 degrees Celsius, which is 0.6 degrees above normal. The maximum humidity level in the atmosphere on this day was recorded at 78 percent and the minimum at 33 percent.

Kolkata's temperature is not expected to fluctuate much in the coming days. A slight increase in temperature may also be recorded in the districts of North Bengal.
