
Nagpur, 20 Feb
(HS): Three deer were killed by an unidentified heavy vehicles on Nagpur’s outer
ring near Bokhara village. The deer, one male, a female and a fawn, were
crossing the road, when the vehicle crushed them to death on Thursday evening.
According to
preliminary reports, rattled by the powerful headlights of the vehicle the deer
might have been stranded in the middle of the road and were crushed by the
heavy vehicle moving on the road.
Local residents
removed the crushed bodies of the animals and informed the Forest officials.
Further
investigation has been initiated.
