Guwahati, 20 February (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday extended warm birthday greetings to his cabinet colleague Kaushik Rai, lauding his contributions towards public welfare and development in the state.

In a social media message shared on the occasion, the Chief Minister appreciated Rai’s efforts in ensuring food security for every eligible beneficiary and in accelerating focused development initiatives in the Barak Valley. He said the minister has been working assiduously to empower the people of Assam through dedicated service.

Dr Sarma also offered prayers to Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev for Rai’s good health and long life, expressing hope that he continues to serve Aai Asomi with commitment and sincerity.----------
