
Bhubaneswar, 19 February (H.S.): The Odisha government on Thursday suspended Bipin Kumar Pradhan, Tahsildar of Padmapur in Bargarh district, following allegations of corruption, the Revenue Department said.
The suspension was ordered on the basis of a report submitted by the District Collector, prompting immediate departmental action against the officer.
Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari reiterated that corruption in any form will not be tolerated in the department and warned that stringent action would be taken against officials found involved in corrupt practices.
Earlier, Revenue Secretary Arvind Padhee had directed all offices under the Revenue Department to strictly adhere to a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, reaffirming the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
