Bhubaneswar, 18 February (H.S.): The annual Plus Two examinations, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, commenced across the state on Wednesday under stringent security measures, including AI-enabled CCTV monitoring at question paper hubs.

For the first time, the question paper hubs are being closely monitored through AI cameras and CCTV systems, with oversight directly managed by CHSE authorities. Officials stated that live streaming is in place from the moment the question papers are collected at the hubs until they are opened at examination centres, ensuring transparency and a malpractice-free process.

To further strengthen examination oversight, 102 flying squads have been deployed across five levels of monitoring.

This year, a total of 4,01,623 students are appearing for the Plus Two examinations, which will continue until March 28, 2026. Authorities emphasized that the enhanced security and surveillance measures aim to maintain the integrity and fairness of the examination process.
